Just checking in

I have been very busy planning this and that. Juggling a ton of things all at once, and I think I have finally managed to ease it all down to nice steady pace. I can come on here and post to you all, I can write more of my book, I can just sit back and relax. It feels so good not having any extra stress to dwell on.
How much time do you spend on reading? How much time do you dedicate to your job(s)? Is there something in there that you are missing, or wanting to do more of? Or are you one of the few people who have everything worked out to an exact science? I need to read a book a week. I went a few months without reading and I asked myself why I felt so, so closed off. That is when I remembered the last time I read a book was at least a month and a half ago. I picked up a book and started to read. The next thing I know I am done and picking up the second and third. I finished the whole series in four days. I did nothing of what I needed to do, like write, clean, cook. I did the showering and going to my full time job, but everything else took a back burner.
Getting lost in those books helps me relieve my stress, it's what helps me escape reality long enough to become someone else and rid myself of the stress of my everyday life.
I figured out, if I come home once a week and relax by reading I feel like a whole new person. I can achieve anything after my mind, body, and soul have been transported to another dimension. I also realized that trying to cram everything into one week, when it should take three or more, is a good way to drive myself to the loony bin. I would like to stay here. Where I am comfortable and able to do as I please.
So my releases I had planned out in the beginning of the year are not going to happen. I have already missed my deadline for the 3rd Pandora book, and the others are falling back because of it. I still plan on having two more out by the end of the year, but the 5 I planned are long gone. I'm sorry. Crap happened and I became completely unmotivated to do anything.
Well, I hope you have a stress free week and remember, by slipping away into a book once in a while you become a happier version of yourself.

Thoughts

I was sitting at home one night. It was raining and just plain blah. I sat down to watch my favorite shows and then thought better of it.
Instead, I went to my computer and devised a new plan. A new strategy. I know some people are seeing this. If you see these posts regulary, please comment and let me know your thoughts.
I want to create a new kind of bloghop. Do you remember me doing the seven 11 bloghops last year? Well, thats kind of what I want to bring back, only reinvented. We won't be sharing works that are in the works, we will be sharing works that are out and may need a little more attention. Inside of these hops I want to include giveaway(s) how many depends on my group of authors that want to join me.
Now, here is where you come in.

MY REVIEW
From the begining I wanted to keep on going. Not reading what the book is about, I was axious to find out what her lies were. Who was she escaping from and how could she hide behind her lies and manage to become engaged to a rich man?
It made me keep reading until I figured it out. Was she a spy? Was she an undercover agent? Under witness protection?
Finding out she was a criminal and hiding from her old boss made me keep reading, can they expose him before kills her? Can she behind Riley and go back to her Fiancée? All these questiones where answered and I still wanted more.
This is a great book, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Seven 11 Blog Hop!!!

Well, as you know it is that time again! Today marks our 1 year anniversary for doing this blog hop! 1 year! That time went crazy fast.  so much has happened in that time frame that I didn't even realize we were just flying on by.
Well today is Amanda's Birthday. And she is doing a really good thing with her birthday. she wants to share a campaign that she is doing with Charity Water. They bring clean water to third world countries and she is asking people to donate what ever you can give so she can reach her goal of $750!!!! Well Happy Birthday Amanda! And what a great way to use your birthday wishes, helping people.
We have a few giveaways this month too, and I was supposed to have a new release today, but that isn't happening something prevented it, so we will have that by next month the latest.

“Why did she die? She wasn’t sick! She should have survived that!” I yelled toward my father. I didn’t hear the answer as I felt strong arms come around me and lift me up away from Betsy. I didn’t fight it, I let him carry me away to my room, the only safe place I know. When Roy placed me on my bed and moved to leave me there alone I grabbed onto him with all my might. He turned towards me and sat down beside me.

Seven 11 Blog Hop

Hello everyone. Today is the 11th, which means it's time to put up some lines of my WIP or a completed one. Today's is from Return to Pandora. The first book in my new series. It is set to be out July 11th. When you are done with my seven lines go check out these other wonderful authors and their seven lines.

"What I did today was stupid. I'm ashamed that I can't beat you; and if I can't beat you, how am I going to protect you?" He said sounding defeated.
"I don't want you protecting me," I said to him. "If you're protecting me that means you could die, I don't want you to die. I can't risk your life for mine. Who says that my life is more valuable than yours, just because I'm a princess? We do it together to conquer together, remember?" He didn't even respond, probably trying to avoid the fight that is bound to happen over his duty to protect me. Instead he just kissed me, making up for the whole day of avoiding me.

Hello lovelies!
How are you all doing? I'm doing swell.

Did I ever tell you all the good news? I have a publisher. I've been signed on for a 3 book deal! That's awesome right?
Well my new series will be only 3 books and be published through them.

The first book, #ReturntoPandora will be out on July 11th. #IntoPandora will be out by the end of the year and #FreeingPandora will be out mid year next year. God willing anyway. I'm already hard at work on Into Pandora so at least that one will be out on time.

This series is my new beginning and I'm looking forward to reading your great reviews.

Seven 11 Blog Hop

Hello, Good day to you all. You all know what today is right? Well if you don't I'll tell you. On the 11th of every month, me as well as some other great authors post 7 lines from their work in progress or a completed work. This month I will be doing it from a completed work. The Sacrifice was just released on the 31st. I usually do a little more than the 7 lines, mostly because I hate leaving it unfinished.When you are done don't forget to check out the others, Steph Nuss has a giveaway.......
So here it is....
“What the heck?” He said and I looked in time to see the Demon breaking through the border and heading straight for us. He was huge. Bigger than Sebastian and I put together. He had oily looking skin and black bumps on his head where his eyes should be. His nose was a line above his mouth that had razor sharp teeth in three rows on the top and three rows of sharp teeth on the bottom.
“That should have set off the alarms. He broke through and no alarm was sounded.” He sounded worried and it only made me more nervous. And he threw the dagger at the Demon and it grunted as it pulled it out of its arm. “Throw your dagger aim for his head,” He said and I did.
But I missed his head and got it in his neck. The blood oozed out of the hole where he ripped the dagger out. The smell made me gag. It’s stronger and smells nastier up close. He dropped the dagger to the ground and looked right at me. I froze he’s big and scary and I’m not ready for this. These are just stories that were told to keep kids good and scared to be out after dark, not something that was real and I was supposed to be fighting off to save lives.
Sebastian took his potion and threw it at the Demon. He erupted into flames instantly, but nothing happened. “Throw your potion,” He yelled to me, and I did as he said. When my potion hit him, he erupted into more flames burning him deeper and deeper, but he still didn’t die.
Sebastian called for the dagger that was on the ground near the Demons feet and he threw that into the Demon opening up a big wound on the side of his face. The flames grew bigger around his blood and Sebastian threw another dagger at the Demon getting him in the head. He roared with pain as the flames soared around his head and ate apart the wound that was left from the dagger.

Broken Blood, book 5 in the Dirty Blood series is coming March 11!

What do I say about Broken Blood? How about holy heck? I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it, I was unable to put the book down and when I finally finished it I still wanted more. I am very sad to see this series end, but Heather did a kick ass job ending it. I don't like to give away anything that will ruin it for you, but let me just say that if you haven't read this book or this series yet you definitely need to pick it up and read them. And by the way I will always be #TeamWes. ;)

Hello wonderful ladies and gents. today is the seven 11 blog hop. With that being said we have to post 7 lines from a finished work or a work in progress. Holly crap this is what we were looking for all along. The disappearing people and the Vampire problems were going to start a war with the vamps for nothing it wasn’t them. I can’t allow this to happen. I pulled and pulled on my restraints to no avail. The outcome only resulted in me screaming in pain at the burn coming from the restraints. "Milissa, you have to stop, you're only going to hurt yourself if you keep trying to get free, these people are good at what they do, they have been doing this for a very long time, they know how to restrain you so you can’t get free," Dante said with a hint of frustration in his tone. That small hint of frustration is the only thing that kept me still; he’s trying to protect me, but how? He can’t even touch me, and were both going to die.
