I’m cold and scared. I’m in the woods alone and there is something coming after me. I run. I run as fast as my four legs will carry me and I don’t stop until I feel it’s safe. When I get to the cave it’s empty save for some bats that scatter out when I came running in. I head straight for the back of the cave and hide in the leaves and junk that litters the floor.
I hear footsteps outside of the cave and I tense. It’s a dark force that chases me, I can feel the dark magic practically falling off of it, and I can’t seem to escape it. I ran for three days in my wolf form because she runs faster than my human form. It’s been three days since I last ate and I feel as if I’m forgetting something, but I’m too tired to remember.
The shadow that is cast outside of the cave suggests that there is a demon out there, but the footsteps are those of someone with human feet.
“I know you’re around here somewhere, Rebecca, I can smell you.” He said and I froze. I know that voice. I’ve heard it before I just can’t place it.
He walks away leaving me alone and it hits me I know who’s voice that is, but he’s dead.
